Q: Where is the wedding held? Darby House, located on a private estate (Darby Dan Farm), in Galloway, Ohio. Q: Is this private property? Yes, Darby House is on private property with restricted access. Guests must remain within designated areas.

Q: How do I get to the venue? 801 Darby Creek Dr., Galloway, OH 43119 All guests enter through the front gate. A gate attendant will be present to direct you to free, on-site parking. Q: When should I arrive? Please arrive at the time listed on your invitation. Early arrival is not permitted. Q: Can I leave my car overnight? No, all vehicles must leave the property at the end of the event. Cars left overnight may result in fines, towing, or retrieval delays (retrieval by next business day). Q: Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the wedding venue? No, please plan on driving yourself or using similar services to Uber. Note: As a reminder, you are not allowed to leave your car overnight at the wedding venue.

Semi-Formal/Dressy Casual Attire: https://www.brides.com/story/wedding-dress-code-explained Our wedding coincides with Halloween, but the day will be styled with a classic, non-holiday aesthetic. Guests who wish to follow our color inspiration may want to dress in earthy neutrals and deep jewel tones like burgundy, brown, olive, and navy.

Q: Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors? The ceremony may be held outdoors or indoors, depending on the weather. A final decision is made close to the event, but the hope is that it can be outdoors. A coat room is available to the right as you enter through the venue's front doors. Q: Will there be assigned seating? Yes, there will be a select amount of marked-reserved seats for the ceremony. Table assignments will be listed digitally at the doors for the venue’s reception space. Q: Can I explore the property? No, guests may not roam the farm, barns, bridges, or grounds beyond the designated event areas. There will be lawn games available. Heeled shoes are not permitted on the putting green. Q: What if I have two left feet? Perfect, so do the bride and groom! We'll be out there leading the charge with zero rhythm and 100% energy on the dance floor.(;

Q: Can I take photos? We strongly encourage you to be present with those around you and refrain from any cellular device usage during the ceremony. Please avoid any flash photography during the first dances at the reception.

Q: Will food be provided? Yes, appetizers, a buffet dinner, and dessert are provided as part of the reception. Q: Can I take leftover food home? No, any remaining food is the property of the venue and cannot be taken off-site. Q: What drinks are available? Beer, wine, signature cocktails, mixed drinks, soda, coffee, tea, and water will be provided. Q: Can I bring my own alcohol or drinks? No, outside beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) are strictly prohibited.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Guests requesting allergy or dietary meals, when RSVPing to the wedding, will receive a Chef’s Choice meal tailored to their needs. Please reach out to Sarah or Jason directly, by 9/13, so your needs can be communicated to catering staff. Catering will provide a Chef’s Choice specialty meal to accommodate the 9 major food allergies recognized by the FDA: seafood, shellfish, peanuts, milk, wheat, soy, tree nuts, eggs, and sesame. Catering will provide a Chef’s Choice specialty meal to accommodate these diets: vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and pescatarian. Note: In consuming gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian items, please be aware that there may be a chance of cross contamination. Guests are encouraged to consider this information in light of their individual requirements and needs.

Q: Are shots allowed? No, shots will not be served. Q: What happens if someone brings alcohol onto the property? The venue may remove the guest and impose penalties on the event. Q: Can I take unopened alcohol home? No, any remaining alcohol must stay on-site.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

We plan on meeting interested guests at Pins Mechanical Co. in Dublin's Bridge Park after the conclusion of the wedding reception. Other walkable options close to our hotel accommodations include: VASO Rooftop Lounge, The Roosevelt Room, and Palm Valley Cocktails.
