We’re getting married!

It started with me joining an EMS company as an emergency dispatcher. Jason was the Detroit Division Supervisor who was working as a Paramedic on the road as well. We got to know each other since at the time he was working in office a lot, and we became friends. Eventually I got my EMT license and coincidentally, was partnered on a truck with him. We worked together out in Detroit on a rescue truck, and that’s where we got to know each other very well. He became my best friend and my person to go to! He also taught me everything I know in my career today and showed me my worth, to the point I fell in love with my career. We figured out we had lots in common, he made me laugh everyday, he picked me up when I was down, we shared sad and happy moments together during work, he became my rock. Once we worked together for a while, we started to hang out outside of work. He introduced me to his kiddos who have became my world, and I never knew love until I was around all of them. Jason and I became closer and that’s where sparks flew! We were each others go-to, both of us went with the flow of things and eventually we fell in love. He is my heart and soul in one person! He is me in another human body. He taught me what real love is, he taught me trust, he accepted my flaws for what they are, he loves me for me as I love him for him. From the Medic 71 Paramedic and EMT duo to now, I am grateful for his presence in my life and I am grateful our story happened as it was aligned to be.
