I remember this day vividly. Noel and Susan's wedding ceremony just finished and the bridal party was asked to go back inside the main hall and wait to take pictures. I was sitting in one of the front pews when I randomly looked over my left shoulder and saw Becky for the first time. I couldn’t believe how stunning and gorgeous she looked. I caught myself staring at her so I turned back around and faced forward. I spent the next few minutes continuing to “randomly” look over my left shoulder - one look wasn’t enough (in all honesty, two, three, four, five, etc. looks weren’t enough either). The first thought that came to my mind after seeing Becky was how absolutely gorgeous she was. The second thought was that I had a ZERO percent chance of being with a girl like that. The bridal party was eventually called up for pictures so I pushed my thoughts to the side - but that first look left a lasting impression. A few weeks later, Noel texts me and says there is a girl from his wedding that reached out and said she was interested in me. He wanted to know if I would be interested in getting to know this person. My initial thought? Not interested. But then Noel sent a picture of her and I immediately noticed IT WAS THE SAME GIRL FROM THE WEDDING. I quickly replied that I was VERY interested in getting to know her and asked for her number (even before I asked for her name and any other important details about her). I stayed up late that night working on a text to send her the next morning. The next morning came, I pressed “Send” on my phone, and the rest is history.
I noticed Jason sitting down in the front pew while we were waiting to take our family pictures after the wedding ceremony. I had no idea who he was, but I thought he was so handsome and I wanted to know if he was single. I’m typically not bold enough to do something like that, but I couldn’t stop thinking about him after that wedding. A few days later, I asked my cousin (who was also a bridesmaid at the wedding) if she knew who he was. She told me his name is Jason and that she would find out if he was single for me. A few weeks later at another wedding, I saw Susan and she asked if I was dating anyone. I told her I wasn’t, and she said she had someone in mind for me. I hesitantly replied “…okay, who?” She then asked if I remembered one of her groomsman named “Jason” and if I’d be interested in talking to him. She didn’t even know I was interested in him in the first place! A huge grin appeared on my face and without hesitation I said “yes!” The next morning I received a text from J, and the rest is history!
