We're getting married!

It all started in an office building in Washington, D.C. Jason worked on the 10th floor. Monica worked on the 11th. They passed each other in the hallways, exchanging a few words over coffee, and after-work happy hours. Jason once asked Monica if she wanted to do some work for him… despite her having absolutely no finance background. Monica obviously refused. Life eventually took them in different directions when Jason left that company, and months passed without a word. Then one evening, in the most modern of ways, they reconnected through memes. (If you know Jason Costa, this won’t surprise you.) Larry David memes, to be exact. And, as it turns out, great love stories do begin with Curb Your Enthusiasm. From their earliest dates, Jason and Monica bonded over their shared sense of humor — the kind that shows up in quick wit, inside jokes, and the ability to make each other laugh in completely different ways. They also shared an appreciation for awkward moments, the kind that make you laugh even harder together. They discovered a mutual love for live music, comedy shows, perfectly poured pints of Guinness, and spending time outdoors. In 2023, to celebrate their first year together, they traveled to Norway. While hiking Trolltunga, surrounded by mountains and sky, each of them — without saying a word — realized they wanted to be with each other for the rest of their lives. A day later, over Guinness at an Irish pub in Bergen, they said it out loud. It felt monumental. In February 2024, now with a collective affinity for the nordics, they traveled to Iceland. One morning, on the black sands of Diamond Beach, with the waves crashing and icebergs sparkling, Jason got down on one knee. Their tour guide, Schleppy — a very tall and very kind Icelandic man who looked like a Viking — stood just a few feet away, camera in hand, following their every move. It was funny, a little awkward, and somehow made the moment even more special. Between the beauty of the beach, the surprise of the proposal, and the unintentional comedy of having Schleppy as their third wheel, it became a memory they will cherish forever. Later that year, Jason and Monica adopted their dog Echo, who quickly became a beloved part of their adventures. Today, their life is filled with drive to support each other through their chosen careers, love for family, a shared sense of adventure, and an endless supply of laughter. Every day together brings something new, and they cannot wait to begin the next chapter surrounded by the people they love most!
