Cocktail attire is appropriate for our wedding. The ceremony will take place outside, while the cocktail hour and remainder of the reception will be inside the barn. The sides of the barn are open and it is not airconditioned or heated in the main area of the barn so you will want to dress for the weather.
Cocktail hour will be the hour immediately following the ceremony where guests will eat and drink while the bridal party takes some photographs on site. There will be an open bar as well as Hor D' Oeuvres. The Hor D' Oeuvres will be chicken waffles with a bourbon-maple glaze, stuffed mushrooms with Italian sausage and mozzarella, coconut crusted shrimp and mango-ginger vinaigrette, vine ripe tomatoes with fresh mozzarella and pesto on crostini's, and crabcakes with creole remoulade. There will also be baked imported Brie cheese En Croute' with raspberries and toasted almonds and assorted domestic and imported cheeses- garnished with fresh fruits and berries. Served with sliced baguettes and assorted crackers.
There will be a dinner buffet consisting of a mixed green salad, marinated chicken with mango-pineapple sauce, carved prime rib, pasta with sun-dried tomato cream, spinach, mushrooms, garlic, and parmesan cheese, oven-roasted potatoes, fresh garden vegetables, and bread and Boursin. The kids' meal will consist of chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese!
