Jason and Mikayla met at Aerotek where they both still work. They first became friends where they worked closely on the same team. Jason had always thought Mikayla was beautiful and a “sweetheart”. Mikayla’s work bestie, Yasmin would frequently hint Jason’s name to her and encourage Mikayla to consider the idea of Jason being a potential bachelor. Jason ended up asking Mikayla out on a date and she agreed! After a few dates Mikayla “friend zoned” Jason, leaving him heart broken. 3 months later Mikayla and Jason were at their team christmas party, where Mikayla was questioning her decision to friend zone Jason. Meanwhile after a night of flirting and rekindled sparks Mikayla reached back out to Jason to meet for ice cream. After ice cream they decided they would start over & see where things go! On Valentines Day, 2021, Jason asked Mikayla to be his girlfriend OFFICIALLY but they both new way before then. And on October 30th 2021, Jason got down on one knee in Disneyland, in front of the Castle & asked Mikayla to be his Bride! The most magical day & one they both will never forget!

Jason proposed to me in Disneyland in front of the magical castel. A day we will both never forget! I was totally caught off gaurd and had no idea it was happening on this trip. My sisters said to us, “Jason and Mik get in front of the castle and take a picture together.” Totally not thinking anything I walk towards the ledge to sit on it for the picture and im looking around for Jason and before I knew it he was down on one knee. I could not believe it was finally happening! The day i’ve waited for my whole life! I couldn’t decided if i wanted to cry tears of joy or smile of pure bliss or laugh of excitement. It was the BEST DAY EVER! And the cherry on top, my parents, all my siblings, neices and nephews were there to see this all happen and share such a special & unforgettable moment with us! Jason put so much thought and planning to making this moment so perfect. And it was.
