What time does the wedding start?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We kindly ask that guests arrive at 3:30 PM to find their seats and enjoy the stunning view of the vineyard.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking. You can leave your car overnight if needed but it will need to be picked up by 10 AM on Sunday.

Is there a shuttle to and from the wedding?

Answer

A shuttle will pick up guests at the front of Sonoma Valley Inn at 2:45 PM. The second stop will be at The Lodge at Sonoma Resort at 3 PM and will take guests to B.R. Cohn Winery. After the wedding, the shuttle will stop at The Lodge and then make a final drop-off at Murphy’s Pub in Sonoma Plaza (close to Sonoma Valley Inn) for those who want to keep the party going! Please RSVP if interested in the shuttle.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

It's an outdoor wedding! We’ll soak in the vineyard views by day and dance beneath the stars by night. Dinner will be served under the open barn.

What is the weather like in Sonoma in September?

Answer

Sonoma in September still feels like summer! You can expect warm, sunny days (around 84°F) and cooler evenings (around 56°F). Rain is rare (fingers crossed—it’s an outdoor wedding!). You'll want to bring a layer for when the sun goes down.

Is there an after party?

Answer

We all know that Jason will try to Irish exit his own wedding, but we will be forcing him to go. Jason and I will be in the Rose Room at Murphy's Pub on Sonoma Square.

Should we be concerned about fires in Sonoma in September?

Answer

While the risk is usually low, wildfires can happen. The world is pretty unpredictable lately. For peace of mind, you may want to consider travel insurance.

Are kids invited to the wedding?

We adore your little ones, but we’ve decided to keep the wedding celebration adults-only, with the exception of children in the wedding party. If you’re bringing kids along for the trip, we're happy to share a list of trusted local babysitters!

Please let us know ASAP, as planning a wedding in 5 months is extra tricky! Final count will be needed 30 days prior to wedding.

We didn't reserve hotel blocks as our hope is for you to make the most of your Sonoma getaway! Whether you’re looking for a cozy inn, a luxury stay, or a charming rental home, there are plenty of options to suit your style and budget.
