Finally tying the knot!

We met in the fall of 2010 at Central Connecticut State University. It wasn’t until mid-January 2011 that we went on our first date - TRON: Legacy and TGI Fridays! The spring semester started and we decided to make things official! The rest is history.

It was a magical moment — that I almost ruined! We were at Disney World for my 30th birthday in July, and on the second day of our trip we went to EPCOT. It was so exciting - we spent the morning successfully getting on the Guardians of the Galaxy coaster. Jason was so nervous, but I only thought of it as motion sickness from the spinning coaster. We headed towards Japan to get kakigōri, one of our favorite snacks, after riding Soarin’ and walking around the park. I was itching to head back to the coaster as our virtual queue had gone off. Jason insisted we reapply sunscreen, and I thought nothing of it as we stood in front of the tori gate! I even tried to move towards a trash can to put everything down, but he told me to stay right there — and produced the beautiful ring we picked out months prior. Of course I said yes!
