Tyson Mcghee airport is pretty small for being the gateway to the smokies but if you're flying from Austin and would like to spend a few days exploring, Allegiant airlines has a great Friday to Monday arrangement (how we made long distance dating work for a year). Otherwise American, Delta, and United also service the area.
