The reception is indoors; however, our ceremony will be outside, overlooking the mountains. Please check the local weather to make yourself comfortable, yet classy Spend this special moment with us, please Take NO pictures during the ceremony. Silence your phone and put it away. Let’s be in the moment. ***The ceremony start time is not yet official, so please check back for updates, or wait for your official invitation to be mailed a few months after you receive your "save the date" card. Please do not be late! *** For those arriving to town the day of the wedding: We definitely suggest arriving to the area early to ensure traffic doesn't cause anyone to miss the wedding. Our venue is set on a vineyard that actually has a separate, public, tasting room just down the lane. Feel free to come to the tasting room early to enjoy a wine tasting, beers, and beautiful views, stress free from traffic. Bathing Suits, Sunglasses, & SPF
We plan to take full advantage of the three-day weekend. We hope you join us on our Sunday river float! So pack your bathing suit and a flotation device (tube, lounger, canoe, blow up rhino, whatever!). 10am - 1pm: Take your time waking up, then make your way to the main farm house! There's a beautiful fresh water pond for laying out and swimming, a pool table, arcade games, and great friends! 1 pm: We'll determine the car plan (some will leave cars at the drop out, some will leave them at the river entry, some will leave them at the house), and head out to start our float! Please byob (and don't forget water)! No glass, and if you don't have a floating cooler, remember to bring a plastic bag to attach to your flotation device for full cans, and empties! 5 / 6pm: We'll end our float in Downtown Scottsville, where we can grab dinner at the Tavern on the James. Please let us know if you plan to attend!
