Our room blocks are now expired, but if you need accommodation recommendations, let us know what you're looking for and we'd be happy to point you in the right direction. There are hundreds of options in the Washington, DC area, including several within walking distance.
The string quartet will start playing some of our favorite movie theme songs at 5:00 p.m. so we encourage you to arrive early and enjoy the concert! Guests should be seated no later than 5:20 p.m. as the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. Please allow plenty of extra time for parking, traffic, and transit delays.
The address of the Willard InterContinental is 1401 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington DC 20004. The main entrance is on the south side of the hotel and hotel staff will be in the lobby to guide you to the Crystal Room. We recommend taking public transportation, rideshare (Lyft/Uber) or taxi services, or walking to the Willard from a nearby hotel. The closest Metrorail station is Metro Center on the red, orange, blue, and silver lines. From Metro Center, take the 12th & F Sts exit up to street level and continue straight ahead (west) two blocks to 14th & F. Cross 14th St, turn left, and walk one block. Turn right onto Pennsylvania Avenue, and the Willard's main entrance will be ahead on your right. If you are driving, valet parking is available at the hotel at no charge to our guests for the duration of the event. Information about area airports is on the Travel and Room Blocks page of our website.
The dress code for our wedding is black tie optional. Suggested attire for men: Tuxedo or dark suit and tie. Suggested attire for women: Long evening gown, cocktail dress, LBD, sparkly separates, or formal jumpsuit. (Note: The bridesmaids will be wearing dark green and champagne dresses.)
The ceremony and reception are indoors in the Crystal Room. The cocktail hour will be held in the Courtyard (outdoors) and the adjacent Breezeway (indoors). In the event of rain, the bar will be moved inside to the Breezeway.
