The wedding ceremony and reception will be at Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club. 70 Tanglewood Drive Pawleys Island, SC 29585
Our wedding will be a formal black-tie event - Black gowns for women and black tuxedos for men please. If you need a tuxedo rental, we have a group code at Men’s Warehouse with everything you would need and at a discount. Group name is Mengel/Bates and group number is 13431125
We have room blocks at the Hampton Inn and the Oceanfront Litchfield Inn. You may also rent a house, condo, or villa in the area. Please see the travel section on our website for more details.
The ceremony will start at 6pm, so please arrive between 5:30-5:45. You may also find a detailed schedule under the schedule section of our website. Please note that the ceremony will take place outside (weather permitting) so please plan accordingly for colder temps.
Our wedding will be an adult only event. If you are in need of a babysitter, we can help you find one in the area.
We will be providing transportation after our wedding reception for those who are staying at the two hotels with wedding room blocks. Guests at the hotels will be getting dropped off first, but then transportation is open to any other guests staying in other places in the Pawleys area. You will just need to provide your address to the driver. The buses will be running from the venue to drop offs for a 2 hour window after the wedding. You are welcome to drive to the wedding and leave your car overnight. Ubers will also be available in the area.
