Absolutely! We will be sending the invitations out closer to the date of the wedding. We will post an update to the Facebook invitation to let everyone know once we've posted them.
The venue is actually not far from Gold Coast. It is approximately 20 minutes inland from Coolangatta Airport. It's a convenient location for those that want to turn this trip into a holiday. If you travel 20 mins north-east from the venue, it will take you to Gold Coast and south-east takes you to Byron Bay and Kingscliff!
Formal attire, dress to impress! The venue is absolutely stunning, why not dress to the nines to match the view? Ladies, the ceremony will be outdoors so I suggest you wear block heels or wedges to avoid getting stuck in the grass. Gents, while not wearing socks with chinos is the trendy thing right now, I strongly recommend you wearing them. As gorge as your ankles may be, it may get a bit chilly. Wait, it's our wedding! YES SOCKS ARE MANDATORY!!
The venue is atop a hill and given 1 Sept marks the first day of Spring, it may be a bit breezy and chilly; particularly for our Cairns folks. We recommend for the ladies that you bring something to cover your shoulders like a shawl (however you spell it) and/or a jacket. For the gents, long trousers, suit jacket and thick socks are a must!
Yes, there will be parking.
As much as we'd love to have your munchkins attend the celebrations, there are strict rules provided by the venue. Our immediate family will be bringing their kids, however there is a limit on how many kids that can attend before we need to provide a babysitter. So take this opportunity to be kid-free and let your hair hang down! If you have any concerns, please let Joanna know.
