Hyman's Seafood
Where it all began! This is the location of Jason and Jennifer's very first date. Amazing seafood and arguably the best hush puppies in town! There is also a fun little gift shop on your way out. This is a favorite and a must for us to take our out of town guests.
Middleton Place Plantation
Beautiful walking paths through gardens, past statues, and by the water's edge. Historic show and tell and if you're lucky you can get a chance at milking the cow!
Magnolia Plantation and Gardens
Amazing gardens, and informative boat and/or carriage ride. Large petting zoo and home of the famous picturesque white bridge.
Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site
Where it all began for Charleston. Historic site with nature trails, 17th-century replica sailing ship, habitat/zoo, and interactive exhibits.
Cypress Gardens
Are you a fan of the movie The Notebook? Then this is a must see. Remember the swans.. yup, that was here. Plus a butterfly house, boat rides guaranteed to see alligators and lovely walking trails.
Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum
Tour the USS Yorktown aircraft carrier, the USS Laffey destroyer, the USS Clamagore submarine, and a Vietnam camp.
Fort Moultrie
Historic coastal fortification. Learn one of the reasons why we are called "The Palmetto State".
Angel Oak Tree
A glorious 400-500 year old Oak Tree.
Bee City Zoo
So much fun for kids and adults who are kids at heart. Petting zoo, habitat, learn about bees, and pet some reptiles.
Palmetto Carriage Works
Tour historic downtown Charleston on a horse-drawn carriage.
Isle of Palms Beach
