If any of our Wedding guests choose to extend their stay in Northern California, here are some suggested things to do.
Hidden Falls Trail in Auburn, CA, is a moderate hike, 3.2 mile loop. It is a 12 minute drive from the wedding venue.
Tahoe City is a 1.5 hour drive from the venue and has scenic outdoor recreation and dining. Tahoe Treetop Adventure is an elevated aerial trekking course through Pine and Incense Red Cedar trees. For a relaxed afternoon, Skylandia Park is open to the public. Visitors can picnic right on the lake shore line.
In Sacramento, 45 minutes from the venue, you have a large selection of Museums, Parks, Gardens, and more diverse choices for dining.
San Francisco is a 2 hour drive from the venue and is worth the trek if you have never been. The Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, Alcatraz, Golden Gate Park and Botanical Garden, Ghirardelli Square, the 'Full House' house, and so much more...
Yosemite and the Redwood National Forest are longer drives but worth it.
