On sunny days, locals are happy that the “Mountain’s out”. A 3 hour drive from Seattle, you may have to plan a few extra days to explore these trails.
The most versatile park in Washington! You can see alpine trails, the Hoh rain forest, and pebbled beaches here. The best way to get to the Olympic Peninsula is by ferry. Keep an eye out for whales!
