It all began with a swipe right on a dating app and an impromptu Sunday taco and margarita lunch date. We talked and laughed for hours, sharing stories and getting to know each other. A few days later, as we sang along to a Dierks Bently concert a spark ignited. We started bonding over the fact that family comes first, our love of music, hockey, and the desire to travel and experience new things. After a few short months, we found ourselves spending more and more time together. We introduced each other to our children. He entered “Girl World” and I entered “Boy World.” After that, we realized that we had something special. This unexpected connection came out of nowhere - we weren't looking for it, but those first feelings of love often arrive when you least expect them. As time went on, we blended our families and our lives. We have spent time camping, tons of hours on the soccer field, and exploring many new areas from Florida to Wisconsin and even a quick cruise to the Bahamas. From the start, it has felt like an adventure, one we don’t ever want to end. As we celebrated our first annual Lundingham Christmas together surrounded by our children, Jason proposed by gifting me a ceramic chapel for my collection of Christmas houses. On the steeple was a ring. To say I was speechless is an understatement. I absolutely cannot wait to do life with him. This is only the beginning of our adventure together.
