Jason was working at New Way Youth for Christ Thrift Store since 2021 and Desi started working there in 2022. We started talking and Jason asked Desi to go on a walk with him at Celery Flats after work. Desi said she had to think about it and then the next day she said okay. We left work and Desi was hungry, so we first went to Culver's to get something to eat. After eating we went on our walk. Desi had a stomach ache, so Jason asked Desi if we need to take breaks, which Desi agreed. We sat on benches, so Desi wouldn't overdue it. Desi was surprised at how sweet, gentle, kind, and patient Jason was to her. Just like he seemed at work. From then on Jason and Desi's friendship continued to grow.
