Mdina
Mdina is an ancient, fortified city in Malta that served as the island's capital for nearly two millennia. The city's history dates back to the Bronze Age, with contributions from Phoenician, Roman, Arab, and Knights of St. John periods.
Valletta
Malta's capital, a fortified city between two harbors known for its historic architecture and strategic importance. A UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Europe's southernmost and smallest capitals. The city features a grid layout with ancient sandstone buildings, grand fortifications and numerous churches.
