Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at both! But a note to out of town guests that want to explore the city outside of our wedding- parking is expensive in the city, and sometimes hard to find. We highly recommend taxis and rideshare apps like UBER or LYFT. Our city transit system - trains and busses - are also very inexpensive and surprisingly easy to navigate!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The two hotels listed on this website are ones that we have negotiated discount rates for, and are also very close to Midwest Coast Brewing Company, where the reception will be held. There are plenty of great dining options and things to do in the West Loop area they are located. That being said, please feel free to explore other hotel options if you would rather be closer to Michigan Avenue, Grant Park (with the Bean), Navy Pier, and the beautiful Lakefront! Getting around in Chicago is pretty convenient with Uber/Lyft, taxis and our transit system of trains and busses.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please try to arrive by 3pm, so you have time to get across the lawn and get cozy by the huge tree south of the Clock Tower. (When looking at the lake, south is to the right!) But feel free to arrive early to enjoy the park! There is a golf course, cafe and bird sanctuary all there with amazing views of Lake Michigan. Walk south along the lakefront for a bit, and you'll see the Chicago skyline!
