Question

Do we need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19?

Answer

Yes. This has been a truly unfathomable past couple of years, and we want to be sure to gather and celebrate in a safe way for everyone. Given the number of immunocompromised people and caretakers who plan to join us, we kindly request that all guests (ages 5+) be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Per current state guidelines, if you are fully vaccinated at a large gathering, you will not be required to wear a mask or socially distance. If you are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated due to an allergic response to the vaccine, please contact Courtney or Jason directly. All guests will be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test result prior to attending.

If we're fully vaccinated, then why do we need to produce a negative test result?

Answer

Most people who get COVID-19 are unvaccinated. However, since vaccines are not 100% effective at preventing infection, particularly as variants continue to proliferate, breakthrough infections can occur. So, we simply ask that you take the test to protect vulnerable parties in attendance. If you test positive, please stay home.
