We’re Getting Married!!!

After meeting in early October, 2019 & swapping numbers. After talking back and forth for a few weeks, Jason asked Chris out on a date. Chris said he wanted to plan something fun and different for their first date. After thinking of something they would both enjoy, he picked the perfect place for their first date, Medieval Times! Anyone who knows both of them knows, this is quintessentially both Chris and Jason! It was indeed perfect! Chris picked Jason up around 6:30pm and drove him to the date. This was indeed a fun and different date. Conversation just flowed and felt so natural! They each have very fond memories of that date & as they say, The Rest is History!

On October 23, 2022. Jason & Chris took a week long vacation to Dominican Republic. We stayed at a resort in Samana, a very remote area on the island. On the 24th, Jason asked Chris to go on a walk with him on the beach to pick up sea shells, like they do every time they go to a beach. While walking along the beach looking for shells, Jason pulled a large sea shell out of his shorts pocket. He told Chris “look at this shell I found”. Chris was shocked to have found such a beautiful shell on the beach. Jason proceeds to open the shell, where Chris sees a ring inside. Chris then exclaims “you found a shell on the beach with a diamond ring! Wow, that’s crazy!” Jason then gets down on one knee and asks Chris to marry him. Chris didn’t believe what was going on, he thought it was a joke, after he realized this was really happening, he said yes! Jason had inherited his grandmother’s engagement ring and decided to speak with Chris’ sisters about getting some of their mother’s gold and have a ring made of the two. We took his grandmothers ring and Chris’ mothers gold and had a beautiful ring made symbolizing the blending of their families.
