What time should we arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Due to a large music festival taking place in the immediate area, we have adjusted our ceremony time to begin promptly at 5:00 PM. Please intend be seated by 4:45 PM. Traffic may be impacted so please plan accordingly and allow extra time for arrival.

What is the recommended route to arrive at the Waterfront Beach Resort?

Answer

Please take Beach Blvd south toward the water and turn RIGHT onto Pacific View Ave. Pass the first hotel and arrive at The Waterfront Beach Resort and mention the Scapa wedding for complementary valet. Due to expected heavy traffic, we strongly recommend checking live traffic conditions and allowing extra time.

There will be complimentary hosted valet parking at the Waterfront Hotel.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding attire is semi-formal. Think sports coats or suits for men and tea-length, knee-length, or midi looks for women. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outoors. The reception is indoors in an adjoining ballroom. Daily temperatures in May are around 70 degrees.

Where should we bring/ send our gift?

If you would like to honor us with a gift, please visit the Registry section of our website for the link to the Venmo. A card box will be also available at our reception.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation.

Is there a room block if we want to stay at the Waterfront?

Answer

We have a limited number of rooms for those who want to book via the room block for a discounted nightly rate.
