We met at church. At the time one of us wasn't single, so we were only friends. We were both techies and had a lot in common. We continued to be close friends and before you know it we became best friends. I went through a real rough patch and Jason was there for me every step of the way. So many nights he stayed up for hours just listening to me cry on the phone. He was always there when I needed to talk. He helped me get through one of the hardest times of my life. After awhile we were both single and we decided to start dating. He was a gentleman, opening doors and always so respectful. After some fun times and hours of conversations on the phone every night, we decided to make it official. We made each other better. Its true what they say... The way to a women's heart is through her stomach.. well maybe its the other way around but OMG his cooking is something special. We knew we were made for each other.
Well... We were at my moms house for Christmas dinner, there was a bunch of family there which was not unusual, and I was being distracted (I didn't know that at the time ) with a million family pictures. I was then called into the living room to find two dozen roses and my whole family with kool-aid smiles on there face. Me being me I was so annoyed from the pictures I didn't even realize what was happening. Our song was playing ( Back at One - Brian Mcknight) and I still didn't realize until Jason ( very shy Jason) grabbed the mic and started to sing to me (OMG talk about embarrassing lol) I finally figured it out, instantly covered my face and started to cry. After spilling his heart out and getting down on his knee, I said YES!!! (of course) On 12-25-2018 he made me the happiest and luckiest woman in the world.
