We will be having the ceremony and reception in Jason's mom's yard, which is a two-acre rural property on the Tolt River, about 4 miles outside of Carnation. There are beautiful gardens, trails through the forest, and places to walk to enjoy nature all around. The weather in Carnation in August is usually sunny and warm, though it may get cool at night so layers are encouraged. Day time temperatures are usually mid-70s to mid-80s and nighttime temperatures are usually in the 60s. If it is hot, there is a deep swimming hole on the river perfect for cooling off. Please bring your own towels and be safe if you choose to swim! Please note that there is no cell phone reception.
There is very limited parking at the house. There will be parking available along the road near the house and at a nearby neighbor's field. Please park along the road or in the field at the direction of our parking director. If you are parking along the road, be sure to park all the way off the road. Parking is free.

Dressy casual. Be comfortable! No need to dress fancy unless you want to. The event will happen on grass so please plan footwear accordingly.

We will be serving backyard-style BBQ with vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. Please let us know in your RSVP if you have further dietary restrictions that we should be aware of. In addition to the food, we will be providing an open bar with select options, as well as non-alcoholic drinks. BYOB if you have a preference!
