Sunset Cliffs 3:00 pm November 28, 2020. Unfortunately with COVID we are not having the wedding with all of our friends and family, as we had hoped. We plan on filming so everyone can share in our celebration, to be hosted by us (the bride and groom) on 12.12.2020.. A reception will be planned for 2021 when it is safer (and actually possible).
It was love at first sight while sharing a tasting flight at Societe Brewing Company.
After two right swipes and an extended wait from Jason, we met at a local brewery. Jason fell in love with his future wife the moment they met. After a fall of various dates, including festivals, Del Mar, Navy Dining Out, football games, pumpkin carving competition (she lost), trip to Vegas and multiple IDTV shows, they knew their love was meant forever. In January, Jason bought a house and asked the love of his life (and Zoey) to make the house a home. Since then we joined bowling leagues, completed ASA 101 certification (Berkley got a 100%, Jason 99% - never will she let him live it down) and did not go blind making their first home brew together. COVID has only made their love and journey stronger than ever.
Originally everything was planned with a trip to Hawaii, but COVID changed that. After a 1.5 mile hike up Cowles Mountain in 115 degree heat, he proposed overlooking the city of San Diego. She almost collapsed (not because of the ring, but heat stroke), and said YES. Although the plan was to have a helicopter rescue and be televised through the news, we safely made it down the mountain without first-responder assistance.
