You are cordially invited to celebrate

Classic 2018 love story of boy meets boy on a dating app. We had our first date on January 26, 2018 at Bye & Bye, a classic vegan staple in Portland. I (Jason) ate a teeny bowl of edamame while Barton had a normal meal like a real adult. Turns out he initially reached out after noticing the Purdue hat in my picture—he was ALSO a Hoosier! And he didn't hold it against me that I went to Carmel. After spending a few hours sharing about our families, friends, jobs, and life, I knew I wanted to see Barton again. Thankfully, he felt the same way. Our courtship involved lots of laughing, lots of doggy cuddles, and the growing realization that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. A lot of those early days were spent on walks with Eastwood around Columbia Park, a gorgeous collection of 100+ year-old fir trees, majestic elms, ball fields, and a playground (with splash pad!). It was in this park where Barton proposed to me June, it's where we found our home just three days later, and it's where we'll be hosting our wedding ceremony. We absolutely cannot wait to share this special place with you as we celebrate our love in October!
