Once upon a time, on the bustling streets of South Korea, a little boy named Jason was born. He spent his early years exploring the vibrant cities and countryside until, in 2005, his family decided to trade the scenic landscapes of Korea for the wide-open spaces of Plano, Texas. From the Dallas suburbs to the lively city of Austin, Jason grew up embracing the best of both worlds. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, he made Austin his home as a young adult. Ava, who also had roots in South Korea, had moved to the U.S. as a teenager, settling with her family in Lynnwood, a charming city near Seattle. With a heart full of care and a nurturing spirit, Ava had found her calling as a childcare teacher. Fast forward to 2020, during the Covid pandemic, when Jason found himself on a business trip in Boise, Idaho. Five months in the middle of nowhere could make anyone a bit lonely, so Jason turned to the online world for some company. That’s where he found Ava. Though separated by miles, they quickly became close, texting and calling each other for years. For years, Jason and Ava shared stories, laughs, and even some tears across their digital connection. But one day, Jason decided that the screen wasn’t enough. He took a leap of faith and booked a flight to Lynnwood, ready to see Ava face-to-face for the first time. When they finally met, it was as if the universe clicked into place. They both knew, in that moment, that these were the man and the woman they had been waiting for. And the rest, as they say, is history.
