Jason and Allison’s story started way back in September 2013, when both entered the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture program at the University of Guelph. Their friendship bloomed over years of shared classes, a semester abroad in Sweden and the “occasional” well-deserved night out. One fateful night at The Ranch (if you know you know) Allison found herself charmed by Jason's determined yet slightly chaotic attempt at conquering the mechanical bull. There was country music. There was dancing. And there was a spark. In November 2016, it was time to make it official. Jason knew exactly how to win Allison’s heart: a reservation at The Keg and a slice of Billy Miner Pie. Fast forward to September 2024 when Allison and Jason went on a surprise weekend getaway to Ottawa for a little trip down memory lane. On September 29th, during a picturesque walk to a charming covered bridge in Wakefield (a favourite spot of theirs while Jason was living in Ottawa), he got down on one knee and popped the question. Through the excitement and waterfall of tears Allison said yes! After nine amazing years together, Jason and Allison are overjoyed to say "I do". They are excited to begin this next chapter as husband and wife and even more excited to celebrate their special day with you!
