Chicago has some of the best museums around. Just a 10 minute cab ride from the hotel, The Art Institute is a wonderful way to spend the day inside if you're trying to escape the cold. Skydeck Chicago
If you are not afraid of heights, this is a Chicago site you won't want to miss. The Willis Tower is the third tallest building in the Western Hemisphere and you can step onto the Ledge and look out at the entire city at 1,353 feet in the air!
