We recommend "wedding festive" attire. Think vibrant colors and comfortable outfits for an outdoor celebration. Our ceremony, reception, and other events will be held mostly outdoors (Oaxaca can get hot in the summer), so we want you be comfortable above all.
Please let us know in advance if you'd like to bring children or additional family members, as we would like to guarantee that we have the space to accommodate everyone.
Check out our "Things to Do" page for our recommendations! We also highly recommend the curated tours that partner with NaNa Vida (see bottom of page: https://nanavida.com/en/oaxaca-city/). We've absolutely enjoyed them. If you're staying a few extra days, there are also buses available to beaches/resorts (e.g. Puerto Escondido, Huatulco) and other tourism-focused towns in Oaxaca.
English is widely spoken in hotels, airports, restaurants, and tourist areas. As a popular international tourist destination, we do not anticipate this being a barrier to your enjoyment of Oaxaca! However, learning a few Spanish words can help in communicating with locals.
We kindly ask that you mention any dietary restrictions on your RSVP form, and we will make our best effort to accommodate them.
