It was a cold December night when we first strolled along the freezing walkways of Brookfield Zoo. Jason, dressed as a production assistant in his hipster glasses and ballcap, picked me up in his Crosstrek. He was appropriately skeptical about picking up a stranger he met on the internet. Little did he know that we had just swept right into each others' hearts. Our first date was perfect, the radio was playing First Date by Blink-182, I had gotten us into the zoo for free with my friend's ID. Over the next 3 hours, we talked about everything. While I may not have believed in love at first sight, I definitely knew that he was special and this is something amazing. And I was right. From trying vegan restaurants, to going downtown, doing outdoor activities, and crazy long road trips. We both found someone who lives to explore life. Here we are, almost a decade later, asking you to celebrate what we've built up and what we will continue to build on. Surrounded by everyone we love.
