75 Chestnut in Boston was where we had our first date. If you were to walk past our table, you would have noticed a gorgeous but untouched charcuterie board (we were both too nervous to eat), a bottle of wine, and lots and lots of belly laughs. It was at that very table that the both of us knew we had found our special person. Growing up a hockey player and an Islanders fan, Jason of course had a favorite player growing up. It was none other than one that just made perfect sense for us. Jason Blake. Blake didn’t believe him at first, and it wasn't until Jason whipped out the jersey hidden in the back of his closet, that Blake knew it was just one of the many reasons why we were always meant to be together. This past September, Blake opened up her keepsake box from elementary school and in it was no other than one of her favorite shirts to wear as a kid, an Islanders Jason Blake t-shirt. Truly serendipitous! After 3 years of what felt like a blink of an eye, Jason popped the question right outside of their apartment - a spot we look outside to see each and everyday. We can’t wait to continue our love story with all of you!
