Jason and I actually met on Tinder. We only talked a day or 2 before we had our first date. We hit it off from the start though. He took me to a Haunted House in Easley. I love Halloween and he does too. He thought a haunted house might be fun. When I first saw him I thought 2 things: 1. Good lord hes tall! 2. Good god he’s so handsome! There were so many people there, we had to wait in line a good bit before we got to go in to the house. We learned so much about eachother even though some questions I had to ask twice or have him repeat himself. When we finally got to walk into the house I was scared silly and he just walked through it all like it was no big deal. Turns out I chose a baby haunted house that didnt scare him, most things dont scare him though hah! We went on to do 2 Escape rooms, everything you could do at this place we did. It was one of the best dates I ever had and I was definitely hoping to have another soon.
Jason actually surprised me on Christmas morning. I wasnt sure if he would pop the question at Christmas or maybe New Years, but I was hoping. We spent the night at Mom’s house on Christmas Eve, she had a small party and we stayed the night so we could be there for Christmas morning. Jason asked me to set an alarm a little before I actually planned to get up and I did, not thinking much of it. The alarm went off and we woke up, we were moving slow just talking and snuggling. He told me, “How does it feel to wake up in your moms house?” I said, “Its great!” And then he said, “I want to tell you that I dont care where I wake up as long as its with you forever, will you marry me?” I didnt have any words, I almost thought he was joking as we had asked each other to marry one another before with a knowing smile. I knew he meant it when he slid the ring half way on my finger. It was a perfect, amazing moment that I will never forget. He wanted to propose at my moms house, waking up in my old bed and being able to share with my family.
