Jason and Elyse met as teenagers in Federal Way through MOH Phylicia "Physh". Neither of us remember the first day we met, but it was most likely in a Taco Bell parking lot.

Elyse was at MOH Michelle's holiday party scrolling through Tinder, when she saw Jason. She swiped right, matching immediately ( Jason swiped first). With the help of Amy ( bridesmaid), an initial message was sent to Jason. After using Tinder as a conversation platform, Jason invited Elyse to his Christmas party, and it wasn't until then that they expressed these feelings to one another. They hung out the rest of the weekend and have been talking every day since. One of Elyse's most vivid memories from that weekend was when she was shoveling snow off her car, by herself, outside Jason's house and he came out with gloves for her and helped get the snow off. Her favorite part was finding out later that Jason saw her struggling to clear the ice/snow and ran to the garage to get the gloves. He did trip while running, but it was so sweet that he rushed to help.
