Oddly enough, we met the way people used to, through a mutual friend...at a bar...on a weeknight. As people do. And as many great love stories start, neither of us was looking for love or for each other at that very moment. Those cliche things that people tell you when you're out there dating, certainly rang true for us: "you'll find the one when you least expect it" or "don't go looking for love, just be open to it" ..."when you're not looking, that's when it'll happen"... Rachel immediately loved Jason's charismatic and genuine personality. Jason says he felt warm inside as soon as he met Rachel, and could tell she was a truly sweet soul. They managed to talk for 3 hours before Jason asked Rachel to dinner the next week, and the rest is history. Whether it was Jason realizing how old he was getting, or Rachel's brilliant personality, we can't exactly say, but we loved each other's company, conversation, love of food, and we formed a fast friendship and soon after - a relationship. Jason proposed after a year and a half - the timing was perfect. It became abundantly clear that we had both found our person. We can't wait for you to be a part of our special day.
