Pfeiffer Beach
Our go-to hike when we're in town - a path through the plains lead to a purple sand beach punctuated by "the Keyhole," an arch rock formation in the water.
Deetjen's Restaurant
Like going back in to time, Deetjen's is a historic hotel and restaurant in the Redwoods. Our favorite breakfast spot.
The Sur House
Gorgeous fine dining and epic views with a 10,000 bottle wine cellar. This is where we got engaged!
Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park
So many great Hikes winding through a majestic redwood forest.
Esalen Institute
This one is a little tough, but if you can find reliable phone service, call Esalen first thing in the morning to reserve a midnight soak in their cliffside hot springs. Be aware that the springs are strictly nude-only.
Big Sur River Inn
The restaurant here is great, but on the DL: grab a burrito from the convenience store next door (they're the BEST) and have a beverage in the creek. This is where our brunch will be!
Pebble Beach Golf Links
About an hour and 10 Minutes away from the Venue, Pebble Beach golf links are a perfect way to put the cherry on top of your Big Sur vacation. Home of the 2019 US Open!
Nepenthe
Have a glass of wine on the deck at Nepenthe. A great stop to kick off entering Big Sur if you're driving up from Los Angeles.
