We have set aside rooms from August 5-10, 2027 for our guests. We have negotiated a $294/night USD rate for double occupancy which includes breakfast. Additional guest fees may apply. Wedding invites to be sent later will provide contact information on how to book. These rooms will be held until May 2027. This is one of our preferred hotels but feel free to contact our planners if you wish to book another hotel.

Libera LIR airport and San Jose SJO are essentially the same driving distance from the airport to hotels; approximately 3 hours. Flights tend to be lower cost to SJO.

Shuttle

Shuttles Service Provided

If you choose not to rent a vehicle, shuttle services will be provided to / from airports as well as venues. Please work with our planners for details and shuttle coordination. Shuttle service will be provided for the welcome dinner so guests can enjoy the evening without the need to drive. Roads from the airport can be windy and steep, if you get car sick you may consider renting a car to drive at your own pace.

Rental Car

Adobe Car Rental San José

Major rental companies are Enterprise or Adobe. You will need to book these on your own. Rental car locations are available at either airport. Costa Rica requires purchasing additional insurance (extra $10-15 per day paid when picking up the car) The drive is about 3 hours from each airport. Once you get out of town the roads can be windy and steep. All major roads are paved and in good condition. You do not necessarily need 4-wheel drive. Heavy rain and foggy conditions can make travel difficult for inexperienced drivers.
