We had met through Mutual friends, and one night hanging out (as friends) an old cholo came up to us and told us that we look like a very happy couple. To which we blushed and proclaimed that we were not a couple. The man looked at us and simply stated "Oh! Not yet!" and looked straight at a bashful Michael, who asked me out later that night! We often say "if it weren't for the magic cholo we would have never gotten the guts to go out with eachother."

It was New Years Day, 2018, Michael had decided that he wanted to grill some of his famous burgers for dinner and exclaimed that he needed to go to the store. Jasmyn stayed home while he did this but noticed that they needed more beans and that Michael had been gone for some time. She called him up and requested the beans, to which Michael replied, "Yeah no problem, its a mad house over here". Jasmyn, a bit confused, said "OK, take all the time you need". A little over an hour later Michael returns home but with no groceries in hand! Jasmyn ,perplexed, stated "Where are the groceries?!" Michael replied, "You're not going to believe this but they ran out of groceries! " Jasmyn did indeed not believe it, then Michael continued, "But I managed to grab this" and shakily pulled out a ring from his pocket while getting down on one knee. Michael bashfully states "I hope your not mad I forgot the beans. will you Marry me?" At that moment Jasmyn's brain didn't know how to react , but through simultaneous laughter, screams and crying she was able to stifle out an excited "YES!"
