No distance could slow them down—Duncan would make the drive from Gulf Shores to Mobile just to see Jasmini. As their relationship grew, one place became especially meaningful to them: Jesse’s by the Bay. On February 7th 2026, Duncan planned a surprise that Jasmini would never forget. As the sun was setting over the water, the two walked out onto the pier of the restaurant they loved so much. With the sky glowing in the colors of sunset and the bay surrounding them, Duncan got down on one knee and asked Jasmini to marry him. To make the moment even more meaningful, he had secretly arranged for both of their families to be there waiting nearby to celebrate the special moment with them.
