Please understand if you are unable to attend after RSVPing the brides will ask for an in-kind payment of $200.00 to cover the total cost of food and drink spent for your attendance. Special considerations can be made for extreme circumstance (illness, family emergency, weather events preventing travel), but please refrain from confirming your attendance if you are not 100% sure you will be able to make it.
Yes, we will provide dinner for all guests. Please indicate your dietary preferences for you and any guests in the RSVP. Please note that while we will have a meat-based entree option, the majority of food served at the wedding will be vegetarian (some dishes contain dairy and eggs).
Yes, we will serve alcohol to guests over the age of 21. In order to access the full bar you must indicate that you wish to be served alcohol at the event in your RSVP! Failing to do so means that you will not be able to drink alcoholic beverages at the wedding! Any guests wishing to drink alcoholic beverages will need to have their valid photo ID to present to bar staff. We will only be serving beer and wine, no hard liquor will be served.
We ask that guests dress in semi-formal cocktail attire with a 60s flair - dressing up and dressing out is HIGHLY encouraged! The theme of the wedding is Summer of Love, so embrace that energy when planning your outfit! We encourage using a vibrant "summer sunset" color pallet (magenta, pink, purple, orange, yellow, etc). The Brazilian room has a parking area provided, and there is additional public parking throughout the area. Carpooling with a designated sober driver is highly encouraged. Please read the following disclosure carefully regarding parking: PARKING: All parking lots are public. Illegal parking is subject to citation. No one may drive any motorized vehicle in a restricted area.
No, we do not want any gifts. However, we know that wedding gifts are a sign of love and respect. Its in our belief system to promote sustainability and reduce capitalistic consumption, so if you'd like to give us a gift, consider contributing to our wedding fund and/or honeymoon fund on the registry page. Nothing would mean more to us than a small contribution toward making this special day happen!
Pets and ESA animals are strictly prohibited per the rules of the venue. Guests who attempt to bring pets or ESA animals will not be allowed to attend the event and will be sent home. The Brazilian Room has extremely strict guidelines for pets. Violation of these rules can result in penalties for us, and security staff from EBRPD will be present at the event, so we appreciate your cooperation. Please read the following disclosure carefully: ANIMALS: NO animals are allowed inside the building except for service animals. Service animals means any animal trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. Pets providing emotional support, wellbeing, comfort or companionship are not recognized as service animals under ADA regulations are thus are not permitted in the building at any time. DOGS: Dogs are not allowed in the building. The only exceptions are Guide Dogs for the Blind and Assistance Dogs for the Disabled.
This is a strictly non-smoking event indoors. However, we will provide a designated smoking area by the flag pole. Also, guests who leave any smoking paraphernalia not in the designated smoking area, i.e the venue grounds will be fined by the facility and may request in the lost of the brides venue deposit. Please be considerate of all other guests and leave no trace. These rules are subject to change. Please read the following disclosure carefully regarding the official policy for smoking, including consequences for smoking outside of the designated area: SMOKING: There is no smoking allowed. Per Ordinance 38, section 404.3, smoking is prohibited in the East Bay Regional Park District with the exception of in overnight campsites.
