We're Getting Married! ♥09.05.25♥

We both attended college in Greensboro, NC, Roy (NC A&T), Jasmine (Guilford). Our first encounter was at an event in the area where Roy performed some of his masterful poems. We kept in contact through mutual friends after the event. After much debate between us on who slid in whose DM, we begin talking and getting to know each other. (Well really it was Facebook messages which was the only social media platform around outside of Myspace, whew! throwback!). Our first date was to Buffalo Wild Wings which revealed our love for wings & was an early indication that we were a perfect match! Our connection grew stronger through countless date nights & conversations. Roy became Jasmine’s biggest fan, attending many of her college basketball games, while Jasmine cheered Roy on at his poetry events. After Roy moved back to Richmond, Va we made an intentional choice to keep the connection going and the love strong despite the distance. We admired each other’s heart and humility, which became the foundation of our relationship. Over time, our genuine love for each other has grown through coaching youth, attending sports events, traveling, laughing, supporting one another, and creating unforgettable memories. Now, we’re so excited to spend the rest of our lives together doing all of that & so much more! We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you!
