We met while out with friends in DC at a rooftop lounge. Neither can recall what sparked a conversation, but the rest is history. After Porsche's Christmas Eve brunch the two were inseparable.

Jasmine's dream was to have her students involved in her proposal. One weekend, Jasmine's former student, now Goddaughter India, was visiting and Porsche saw this as the perfect opportunity to pop the question. After a day of last minute Christmas shopping, Porsche and India hid clues on the tree decorations (of course it was adorned with Jasmine's favorite flower). One note on a sunflower instructed Jasmine to turn around, and when she did Porsche was there on one knee. Of course she said yes! This was supposed to be a Christmas proposal, but if you know Porsche, you know she doesn't do surprises well!

Surprise! We're married! In light of everything going on in the world, Porsche and Jasmine decided to elope in Vegas on September 12, 2020. Their top priority was the safety of their family and friends so they have decided to pause on celebrating their union until it is safe. In the meantime, the two have been working to build their first home together. They hope to celebrate soon with a wedding reception!
