Like any great love story… ours started with a little matchmaking. It all started when my older sister Sage, who was dating Curtis, met his friend Pieter and immediately said, “He’s so funny! He reminds me so much of Jazi.” Curtis, who had been friends with Pieter for years couldn’t have agreed more. So they casually told Pieter, “You should meet Jazi. No pressure.” Then they came to me and said, “You should meet Pieter. No pressure.” Once we finally gave into their pressure, we went on our first date which was roller skating. This was a double date but we laughed the entire time, and had so much fun. From that day on Pieter and I looked for every chance we could to spend time together and were inseparable. As it turns out, our matchmakers knew exactly what they were doing. Sage and Curtis got engaged soon after and are now happily married—and thanks to their little “no pressure” setup, so are we.
