Melvin and Jasmine's love story began on New Year's Eve in 2016. Jasmine was attending Central Michigan University at the time and Melvin spent the weekend visiting friends. Jasmine did not want to go to the New Years Eve party after working a New Year’s Eve event at the casino she was working at, at the time. Jasmine’s friends talked her into going and sure enough Jasmine and Melvin ended up at the same event. As the clock counted down to midnight. Jasmine and Melvin paths crossed. Their initial conversation was filled with laughter and two exchanged numbers that night. Over the next year, their friendship deepened and their bond grew stronger. Melvin then asked Jasmine to be his girlfriend and the two dated for a year and a half. As time went by, life took them in separate directions. Melvin and Jasmine grew apart, their paths diverging into different phases of life. They both experienced the highs and lows, the joys and challenges, that life had to offer.
