Their long-standing friendship has allowed Linnell to witness Jordon's ambitions from an early age, making his success all the more expected. Growing up just a two streets apart, Linnell and Jordon were inseparable, constantly competing and sharing in each other's adventures. Their enduring friendship has lasted over 25 years, a testament to the bond they share. Jordon's role as BEST MAN in Linnell's wedding is a fitting tribute to their lifelong friendship.

Living together for three consecutive school years, their friendship is a treasure trove of memories and stories. Before LeBron James took his talents to south beach, Tone, Linnell, and Leon were the "big three" on campus, known for their camaraderie and antics. Tone was the mastermind behind many of their wild adventures, while Linnell provided the voice of reason (albeit right before they embarked on these crazy ideas). Meet Dr.Ashley McKnight, aka Ash, is one of Linnell's favorite older cousins. Their bond goes back to their childhood, with Linnell often staying over at Aunt Iris's house with Ashley and the rest of their cousins. Ashley has always been a leader, whether it was having Linnell as her food taste tester to her experiments in the kitchen or creating silly dance routines for him to perform. Their history is not without a few bumps, like the time Brady "accidentally" tripped Linnell in the driveway during a basketball game ( because he was losing), leaving him with a scar on his forehead that he sports to this day. Despite this, Linnell cherishes their bond and has chosen Brady to share in his special day. Their shared memories is a testament to the strong ties that bind family together.

When Mikai stays over at the house, nothing changes—the coaching continues. Linnell is eagerly looking forward to the day when Mikai transitions to calling Jasmine "Aunt Jasmine," instead of "Miss Jasmine" a sign of their growing family bond.
