Jasmine & Layquan met bartending at their job, a local bar in Richmond, VA, in the summer of 2019. While they didn’t anticipate building such as relationship so quickly, fate had different plans for the two. Layquan worked at sed bar, for quite some time prior to Jas’ employment & while Jas was “new to the crew” , Will (as many of you know him by) was always the first to lend the helping hand and show her the ropes. Their first official/unofficial date, depending on who tells you the story, was a night out after work, where the two began to build their friendship. Jasmine always said, (in the back of her mind) “she would never date anyone she worked with”; boy did that change! Jasmine was instantly attracted to the chivalry Will always displayed; from running to the store every time she had a headache for medicine, to ensuring the flower guy delivered roses to her every shift she worked, Will made it so easy for Jas to fall head over heels for him. As the work days continued, so did the new bond they were creating. In the workplace as well as outside, the two were inseparable and the love they share was so apparent. Jasmine & Layquan reached the height of their relationship after exploring their shared loved for food and travel by trying new and different restaurants throughout the city and surrounding areas. Many of the memories the two share, highlight places they have previously visited where their love and exploration have continued to drive the relationship. Being that the two have always shared their love for travel and new journeys, it was agreed that a destination wedding was the perfect way to celebrate their union! They’re so excited to start this next phase of their lives together and can’t wait to celebrate with you in October!
