Keith and Jasmine were friends long before they were together. After being co-workers at Cornerstone Church and realizing that they were in the same friend groups, Keith initially started to become attracted to her holistically (physical appearance, faith, character, values). He sought counsel before making a decision or acting impulsively. After he alerted their friends of his feelings they subtly tried to give her clues about Keith liking her while simultaneously trying to see if she was interested. But Jasmine thought they were just “good friends” and that was the extent of the relationship on both sides! After an outing with friends, she noticed Keith was acting more flirty, intentional, and ultimately kind of weird. She is not the one for awkward situations. After arriving back at their friends, she looked Keith square in the soul. “Keith, do you like me?” He said yes. She was shocked, and he was low-key shook. Subsequently, they began to spend a lot of concentrated time together, getting to know one another. From there, the friendship began to morph into something so much more, Jasmine’s first relationship. Now, More than being caught up in the beauty of one another, they both are caught up in the beauty of their Savior, who brought them together. Their #1 priority and center of their lives and future marriage.

Keith apparently was sitting on the ring for months. He purchased it during quarantine after confirming with some of her closest friends that the ring would fit her style. When the time was right, after asking permission from her parents for her hand, he proposed at the W Hotel in downtown Atlanta on September 26, 2020. It was after a date at his favorite Restaurant Houston’s, that he told her he would take her there for a “drink and dessert.” She had a suspicion that something would go down at the restaurant. Simply because it’s more upscale, but being as smooth as he is, he threw her off by taking her to the W. Meanwhile, friends and family were hiding as he got on one knee and asked the love of his life did she want to be with him for the rest of his life.
