After All This Time.... Always ♥

We first met and started dating in October of 2011 as 18 year old kids - clueless to where our lives would eventually lead us. Not long after we first started talking we went on our first date to Freddy Haunts (a local haunted house) and then proceeded to talk for hours at an Eat N' Park. There was an instant connection and comfortability within our new relationship. Some of our favorite things to do were (and still are) to watch movies, breakfast, go to concerts/music, go to Penguins games, Halloween, and just be with each other any chance we can get. At 19, Jasmine decided that she wanted to go to Penn State Main Campus to finish her degree and asked K.C. if he would go with her – he said yes! We moved into a small apartment on Pugh Street and loved every minute. Through late night studying and odd jobs to stay afloat our love became stronger. Jasmine knew at this point she was going to eventually marry K.C. In spring of 2015, Jasmine graduated and we moved back home. Little did we know that the next few years were going to come with many obstacles and difficulties but the one thing that stayed unwavering was our love for each other. On January 1st, 2018 K.C. proposed to Jasmine. Jasmine had always dreamed to get engaged at the gazebo in Beaver during wintertime and K.C. made those dreams come true. Not long after we got engaged we adopted our first fur baby! Bayne Shotter is our Blue Tick Coon Hound/Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix and a big part of what makes our lives together complete. ♥ We are over the moon excited to finally become husband and wife on August 22nd, 2020 and to celebrate with all of our closest friends and family!

Our Engagement ♥

Jasmine & KC had talked about getting engaged & married for years but was never the right time. She had to graduate & when we moved back home we endured struggles that took precedence. In the months leading up to Christmas 2017 life started to turn around & KC asked Jasmine to get her finger sized. Jasmine became overly excited & started sending KC rings daily. KC wanted to surprise Jasmine but she hoped it would happen on Christmas. KC had other plans for their engagement. New Year’s Eve 2018 came & KC had a plan. Jasmine had been cooking to go to her family’s house and was running late (as usual) & when we got in the car KC asked Jasmine to go to a Candy Shop in Beaver for Jasmine’s cousins. Jasmine said no-the food that was getting cold & she wasn’t driving around! So KC had to hurry & text everyone that the proposal was off for the night! We celebrated & it took everything Jasmine’s cousins had to keep the surprise! New Year’s Morning 2018 KC woke Jasmine up with the promise of breakfast at a restaurant in Beaver. They go to breakfast frequently so she thought nothing of it. After we ate KC said we should go for a walk. However, it was freezing cold so Jasmine complained that we should drive to where KC wanted to go. Still not clicking in her mind KC drove to the park where the gazebo that Jasmine always dreamed to be proposed to was. Even then she still didn’t understand what his intention was because she asked if she needed her purse. KC said no & led her on a snow covered walk to the still Christmas decorated gazebo. Finally she understood what was happening & under the gazebo KC got down on one knee & explained that he was sorry it took so long & asked her to marry him with a beautiful ring! Jasmine said yes! It was the most amazing engagement that KC could have planned! Our engagement was everything Jasmine had always wanted & was special & intimate moment for them. It marked the beginning of our journey towards marriage & the continuous love we share. ♥
