They often say when you are not looking for something life happens. This was very true on how we first met. Some of the events of that evening may be told differently by us but we can agree that this evening was the start to our love story. From the Bride: While hanging out with a friend our plans fell through and she decided to reach out to this guy she knew for alternate options. The guy said that his friend was at a nightclub and we could pull up. We got to the club and the friend happened to be Kavahn. During our introductions, we learned that not only were we both in the military but that we were on the same boat but had never ran into each other. As the night went on we kind of went our separate ways until it was closing time. I went to get into the friend's car however taking his wingman role seriously, Kavahn informed me that I was riding with him. While walking to his car, he told me he drove a Corolla (which was a lie). However, being a fast thinker, I said it was my favorite type of car (I still have no clue what this type of car looks like) but I guess we were both taking each other down the line. He attempted to accommodate me by asking my music preference which was trap music. On the way back to the base, I had to relieve myself which resulted in us making a bathroom stop at a strip club. Maybe he wanted to put my love of trap music to the test. Once we got back to the base, I was succumbed by the alcohol and was feeling very sick. In true gentleman fashion, Kavahn helped me to my bed, put a trash can by me and once he knew I was good went to sleep on the recliner. When I woke in the morning he had left but he made sure to follow up with a text and a call to check in on me. We texted each other until meeting up again and from there on we were together. From the Groom: Its okay, I know Jass lied but we can agree that it was the beginning of our story.
